American Idol flashback

I don't usually watch American Idol but earlier this season I tuned in to the Beatles episodes. This one moment has stuck out for me ever since as being extremely annoying.

Here, check out Jason Castro's performance of the Beatles' Michelle, pay particular attention to what Simon Cowell has to say about it:



I don't really understand why no one called Simon on the fact that the song as originally performed by the Beatles was sung in a mix of French and English. It's how the song is supposed to be sung, it's the whole point of the lyrics; "...I will sing the only words that you'll understand my Michelle." Because she's French. Jeez. Just pitiful (Not Mr. Castro, who does a decent enough job.)

Worst drug name ever

I just saw an ad on Fox for a new drug for bipolar disorder called "Abilfy." I'll let you mull that over for a moment. Horrified yet? No? Well let me introduce you to some of the side effects of taking Abilfy:



For this they are not researching new antibiotics. Ugh.

Baby Got Back

This has to be one of the best covers of all time. Mr. Coulton's version has been around for a couple years now and live videos of it are easy to find on youtube but I think this one is the best performance of it I've heard yet.
